Jewelry Workshop
The jewelry design workshop is at the heart of the department and is used by students and lecturers to implement the curriculum, allowing them to make the most of their studies.
The workshop is equipped with all the tools and materials required for gold and silversmithing, as well as a wax, brass and silver casting room.
The workshop staff provide services during the lessons themselves, as well as during the time set aside for student homework assignments, and is active all year long.
The special nature of the Department of Jewelry Design, which trains designer-makers, dictates the need for the ongoing activity of the workshop for academic, departmental and technical support. This principle is maintained by the continuous and stringent maintenance of the equipment and workspaces, compliance with safety procedures and the presence of professional, dedicated and skilled staff.
