The 2023 Jam Week, an Interdisciplinary annual event at Shenkar, introduced a special international class, for the first time. The class, together with Israeli students, hosted international students from Pace University (USA), NYU (USA), Potsdam University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and EuroMed University of Fes – UEMF (Morocco).

The participation of 12 Moroccan faculty and students in the International Jam Week was made possible through the initiative of the International School, which fostered the collaboration and facilitated its implementation with the support of the Israeli Ministry of Regional Cooperation.

The academic encounter served as a platform for forging connections and fostering camaraderie among students from diverse backgrounds. The personal interactions made by this academic event gave this meeting a unique added value. In our ongoing and current reality, the importance of this cannot be overstated.
