Change Agents – Blueprint for Inter-institutional Collaborations in Social Design

A project supported by Erasmus+, led by Moholy Nagy University of Art & Design.

Participating entities include Shenkar, led by Prof. Jonathan Ventura, University of the Arts Berlin (UDK), Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn (EKA), Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (UNIBZ), and Elisava – School of Design & Engineering in Barcelona.

The project aims to establish sustained infrastructures for collaboration and build strong bridges between key social agents and institutional frameworks (higher education institutions with a non-governmental sector). Its objective is to assist in the development of sustainable and socially sustainable practices, formulating tools that encourage social awareness approaches and positions in the field of design.

The research conducted within the project will scrutinize and enhance innovative practices at the intersection of educational institutions and other organizations in the sector. This effort aims to develop pilot strategies for collaboration that can subsequently be integrated into educational modules.

The project endeavors to unite the academic sector and the non-governmental ecological system, fostering a deeper understanding among stakeholders. It also creates an opportunity to advance a more collaborative, inclusive and shared design practice, all while recognizing the existing knowledge held by diverse stakeholders.
