Shenkar's Software and Chemical Engineering students participated an event, including a tour and an entrepreneurship hackathon in Athens, in May 2023. The student participation was made possible thanks to Shenkar International School. This event was a result of continuous collaboration and a signed agreement with University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm (HNU), Germany.

The academic gathering, also including the University of West Attica, Greece, involved tours in Athens, visits to various academic institutions, interactions with startup companies and engagement with innovation centers. Companies from different sectors participated the hackathon.
