Professor Deborah Nadoolman Landis, from UCLA University, Visited at Shenkar
Professor Sheizaf Rafaeli, President of Shenkar and Shenkar International School hosted Professor Deborah Nadoolman Landis, from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
Professor Nadoolman visited the Fashion Design Department and The Rose Textile and Fashion Archive.
Professor Nadoolman is an award-winning designer and an Academy Award nominated costume designer, who is known for the iconic outfits designed by her, such as the red coat worn by Michael Jackson in “Thriller”, Harrison Ford's fedora hat and jacket in “Indiana Jones”', the “College” sweatshirt worn by John Belushi in “Animal House” and more. Among other things, Professor Nadoolman is a costume researcher. She has written books and exhibited in museums, including the “Hollywood Costumes Exhibition”, exhibited for five years at the V&A in London, which was researched, designed and curated by her.
