Come and experience the inner world of the graduates, who have stretched the boundaries of their work and will present final projects in a variety of ways: photography, performance, video art, plastic arts and more.

The year 2020 will go down in history books as a period in time that provided us with many challenges - on both a micro and macro level. Small businesses and large corporations collapsed in the blink of an eye, we sustained the lock-downs and discovered for ourselves the reality of "social distancing". The warnings and lessons learned have slowly penetrated human experiences and memory. We are now starting to process this information and to understand what we can grasp from it and how to overcome such a heavy blow. With this in mind, we are organizing our end of year exhibition with many questions - will there be an exhibition at all?

If so, how will we, as humankind, continue from this place we find ourselves in?

We've been shown our need for human interaction, affection, and curiosity! It seems that there is no real substitute for a handshake or hug. And at the same time, we have enjoyed the tranquility and quiet that has been created, allowing nature to breathe for a change.

Our students continued to work on their final projects preoccupied with the "nearly the end of the world" hysteria, propelled by COVID-19 reports. This is how we arrived at the end of four years of intensive and challenging studies in the engineering, design and art departments of Shenkar.

Our freshly-minted graduates will present their final projects throughout the college focusing on a multitude of themes, including society, medicine, economy, feminism, pride, and independence.

This year, a number of events will take place at Shenkar, in accordance with the COVID-19 restrictions, including meetings and organized tours for the public, presenting the outputs of our departments. The tours will provide a glimpse at selected final projects that demonstrated excellence in the fields of society and design, while also exposing the depth of work processes within the departments.

For registration to the organized tours, click here.

Shenkar's graduation events will provide an opportunity to meet, up close (2m away of course), the creators, entrepreneurs and artists of tomorrow. This is the opportunity to feel inspired by their accomplishments, and familiarize yourself with the many design and engineering disciplines and current work practices, on both a local and international level.
