This morning Shenkar College welcomed a delegation from the Pierre Cardin fashion house in Paris for a visit.

During the tour of Shenkar's Department of Fashion Design, the members of the delegation met with the head of the department, Ilan Beja, senior lecturer Maya Arazi, and students enrolled in the "Historical Clothing" course (supervised by Moni Mednik).

The visit concluded with a visit to Shenkar's fashion and textiles archive, which includes original Pierre Cardin pieces from the late '60s and early '70s.

The visit was coordinated as part of a Gala exhibition that the Parisian fashion house is planning in Israel this summer.
