International Achievements for the Department of Fashion Design in 2021
Graduate Danit Peleg wins at the BIG SEE Fashion Design Awards for her 3D collection, which was her graduate project at Shenkar
It’s hard to forget Danit Peleg’s graduate project from 2015. Her unique collection, titled “Liberty Leading the People”, is created with 3D printing from start to finish. The collection’s pieces are made of flexible structures printed in soft material, which create a wearable texture similar to lace. This is the first ready-to-wear collection that is entirely printed on domestic 3D printers. Peleg was a winner at the fashion design awards organized by BIG SEE, a European magazine promoting designers in terms of both creativity and business.
