Professor Ehud Menipaz – Founding Dean of the School of Industrial Engineering & Management – Elected Chairman of the Industrial Engineering & Management Association of Israel
Congratulations! The board of the Chamber of Engineers and Architects in Israel has confirmed the election of professor Ehud Menipaz, founding dean of the School of Industrial Engineering & Management at Shenkar, to the chairmanship of the Industrial Engineering & Management Association of Israel.
Menipaz also serves as the chairman of the board of trustees of the Association of Engineers, Architects and Graduates in Technological Sciences in Israel. He is a graduate of one of the first cohorts of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management in the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology during the time of the founding dean, the late professor Pinhas Naor, of blessed memory.
Professor Ehud Menipaz
Menipaz is the author of some of the first books written by an Israeli scientist about production planning and control, and international management, published by the international publishers Prentice-Hall and Sage Publications. He is also a retired senior partner and director at Ernst & Young International, a consultant to companies and organizations on the Fortune 100 list, and a fellow in forums sponsored by the presidents of China, Russia, the United States and Mexico.
He is also the chairman of the Ira Center for Business, Technology and Society, is a founding director of Young Entrepreneurs Israel of the World Organization of Science Literacy, under the auspices of the UN and the World Organization for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research.
