Rozenberg Avi

Avi is an expert in project management and operational processes, a self-employed consultant and mentor in the field and a lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management.

Avi earned his MBA from Tel-Aviv University, specializing in technology management; prior to which he earned his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, with honors, from the Technion. He gained over 20 years of experience in development, maintenance, and command roles in the technical division of the Israeli Air Force, as part of which he managed large projects in terms of budget and manpower.

Over recent years, Avi has served as a project and business development manager in startup companies and has been involved in the planning and management of projects related to process changes, organizational changes and the development of new products and services in technological, retail, service and operation companies. In addition, he also serves as a member of the board and Vice President of Finance at the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Israel and teaches preparatory courses for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification in leading companies and entities in Israel, including: Intel, Amdocs, Netafim, Pelephone, and Africa-Israel.

In 2003, Avi won the Shield of the Minister of Environmental Protection for outstanding volunteers, and the National Quality Award for Industry in 1996, which was awarded by the Israel Society for Quality, later on he served as a judge.

He is the scientific editor of the Hebrew translation of the book "The definitive Drucker" by Elizabeth Haas Edersheim (2008), and part of the translation and technical editing team of the Hebrew edition of PMBOK®- Project Management Body of Knowledge book, from the 2nd edition (2005) to the 6th edition.
