The Department of Fashion Design represented Israel with a spectacular show at Vietnam International Fashion Week
From Ramat Gan to Vietnam: Shenkar’s Department of Fashion Design represented Israel at Vietnam International Fashion Week which was held in Ho Chi Minh City in the south of the country. Participating in the prestigious event, which has consolidated its standing as one of the most notable and important in Southeast Asia, were some of the world’s leading fashion designers who, in some twenty spectacular shows, revealed the hottest design trends for the coming summer.
Starring in Shenkar’s show, which garnered both audience and critical acclaim, were selected designs by students and young graduates that reflect the future of Israeli fashion and its unique language.
"We are happy and proud to host Israel at the Fashion Week, and to become acquainted with its story and culture through Shenkar’s fashion show", thus the event’s organizers welcomed the excited Israeli delegation led by Ms. Leah Perez, Head of the Department of Fashion Design, and senior faculty member Ms. Rachel Hadari.
