Prof. Dan Shechtman - Nobel Prize winner in 2011 in Chemistry - visited Shenkar, escorted by Prof. Yuli Tamir, Prof. Samuel Kenig and Prof. Hanna Dodiuk.

Prof. Shechtman was especially impressed by the combined Engineering and Design and Arts in Shenkar.

The visit of Prf. Shechtman wa concluded by a proposal that the course "Technological Entrepreneurship" initiated by Prof. Shechtman more than 25 years ago will be implemented in Shenkar. Prof. Shechtman will outline the program and Prof. Kenig will supervise the course.
