End-of-year Event at the Department of Polymer Materials Engineering (B.Sc. and M.Sc.)
The Department of Polymer Materials Engineering (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) held its end-of-year event to round off the 2022-2023 academic year – a year rich in academic and research achievements.
The event took place as part of Shenkar’s 2022-2023 Graduate Exhibition at which a unique installment was constructed, titled “Polymers and Sustainable Technologies,” and included research papers of both undergraduate and graduate students of the department.

The numerous guests enjoyed a friendly atmosphere and light refreshments, and also heard brief explanations about the projects presented in the exhibition and a general overview of the research conducted over the years by the department on sustainability and polymer-based sustainable technologies.
Later in the evening, the Etty and Gad Propper Auditorium hosted an award ceremony for the department's outstanding bachelor's degree students for the 2022-23 academic year. During the ceremony, guests heard from speakers about the contribution of ‘polymer materials to the preservation of the planet and the global ecological environment,’ as well as ‘the difference between excellence and excelling. Professor Anna Dotan gave a short, impressive and particularly fascinating lecture on the research conducted by the Department of Polymer Materials Engineering on issues of sustainability.
