2 Shenkar students have won the Council for Higher Education prize for special contribution to the community
Congratulations to the two students—Alina Sara Shamir Galsurkar, a graduate of the Department of Interior, Building, and Environment Design; and Mor Goldstein, a second-year student at the School of Industrial Engineering and Management—who won the Council for Higher Education’s Shosh Berlinsky Sheinfeld Award for social involvement in the community. The sum of the prize is ₪10,000.
Mor and Alina’s response was: “We thank Shenkar and the Unit for Social Involvement (and especially our advisor, Kim Muniz Salazar) for the opportunity to join Shenkar’s social projects. Advancing the community’s welfare is a very important value for us, and this is a chance to use the knowhow that we obtained in our studies to identify a need in the community and to achieve tangible results through the design of a space.”
