Author Ilana Bernstein – a lecturer in the Unit for History and Philosophy of Art, Design and Technology at Shenkar – is the recipient of the 2019 Sapir Award for Literature for her book Tomorrow We’ll Go to The Amusement Park. The four other contenders shortlisted for the prize, which is awarded by the Mifal Hapayis national lottery, are Dror Mishani for Three, Michal Ben Naftali for A Dress of Fire, Yaara Shehori for Roaring Twenties, and Ayelet Shamir for Burden of Proof.
