Noy Alon won the international award in the jewelry category as a part of the Florence Biennale
Under The Tuscan Sun: Noy Alon, a design graduate student and an alumni of the jewelry design department, won the international award that closes the Florence Biennale, where Alon participated. Together with Alon, other finalists in the jewelry department were designers from Italy, Iran and China, who showed extraordinary and unique work.
Over 10,000 visitors arrived at the 10th International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence, where over 1,300 works were displayed by 423 artists from 6 countries. This was the first year the biennale opened up for jewelry design, ceramics and textile.
"The experience was exciting and fascinating”’ said Alon after her win. “I met designers and people from different parts of the industry and from around the world, that are moving the design world forward."

Noy Alon graduated from the department for jewelry design in 2013 and since then presented her work in leading galleries in Israel and around the world. Her final project “Object. Passage.”
Alon was chosen as one of the 25 best and prominent works in the London design week 2014 by the international magazine CulturelLabel. The unique objects that Alon creates are attracting magazines. Websites and blogs.
