Eytan Stibbe and Ramon Foundation CEO Ran Livne Visited the “Floating Laboratory” Exhibit in Shenkar
On Thursday, February 10th, Eytan Stibbe – the first Israeli in the International Space Station – and Ramon Foundation CEO Ran Livne visited the “Floating Laboratory” exhibit, displaying works by students from the departments of Visual Communication and Industrial Design in Shenkar. The exhibit was created for the experiments that are to be conducted during Stibbe’s trip to outer space in March of this year.

During the ‘Rakia’ Mission’, which will be carried out by the Ramon Foundation and the Israel Space Agency in the Ministry of Science and Technology over a 10-day period, Stibbe will conduct dozens of experiments in a variety of fields, teach educational material to Israeli children and promote innovative Israeli art.

The exhibit is the product of a collaboration between the “Rakia Mission” and SpaceShenkar, a project for activities related to outer space at Shenkar, led by Bar Brantz from the ACT Shenkar Center for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, managed by Daniel Altman.
