We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural session in a series of international talks hosted by Shenkar’s Department for Interior, Building and Environment Design!

In the first installment, we will be welcoming Japanese designer and film director Keiichi Matsuda. Matsuda’s projects have been displayed at the MoMA in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, and he even enjoyed viral internet success with his film Hyper-Reality, which was awarded Vimeo’s prize for “Best Drama” in 2016.

Through his projects, Matsuda investigates the intersections of the physical and virtual worlds, and the ways in which these give rise to new realities. In his work, which exists on the spectrum between interactive design and conceptual film, he casts a critical eye over the future of our daily lives.
