Doctorate Thesis Defense in the Department of Plastics Engineering & Polymers in Shenkar
On October 2010 an agreement was signed between Shenkar and the University of Massachusetts Lowell for a joint program : "International Graduate Studies in Plastics Engineering". In the framework of the Agreement 6 students of the Plastics Engineering Department of Shenkar received their Ph.D. in Polymers & Plastic Engineering.
The last Graduate - Ms. Tehila Nahum - defended her Ph.D. Thesis on February 24, 2016 in Shenkar. The title of her Thesis was " Durable superhydrophobic coatings for water and ice repellency" .
For the Thesis defense Prof. Joey Mead and Prof. Carol Barry arrived to Shenkar that together with Prof. Hanna Dodiuk and Prof. Shmuel Kenig supervised the doctorate research. They were joined by Prof. Amos Ophir and Dr. Anna Dotan.
It is the first time that a Thesis defense is held in Shenkar indicating the academic respect for the Department and to Shenkar.
