Dear members of the Shenkar community,

We are currently in the midst of a painful situation.  We send our condolences to the families of those murdered; strength to the families of those injured, missing, and held captive; and support for the security forces in their ceaseless efforts to restore peace and security.  

After careful consideration, we have taken the decision to postpone the beginning of the academic year by at least one week. 

The first day of the academic year (as of this moment) will be Sunday, October 22, 2023. Please note that the semester's end date has not changed, at this stage.

We stand with the students, lecturers and employees who have been called to reserve duty and extend our support to them.

We are here for each and every one of you and remind you that you can contact the Shenkar administration — including the offices listed above — for any type of assistance you may require.

We will continue to keep you updated, with the hope for quieter days to come.
