Dear students,

Due to the ongoing war, the start of the 2023/24 academic year has been postponed to December 24, 2023.

When the academic year begins, we will make accommodations for students who were called to reserve duty during the Swords of Iron war, beyond those detailed in the rules  and rights of students serving in reserve duty:  Rules and Rights of Students (Accommodations for Students Serving in Reserve Duty), 5772-2012 (nevo.co.il) These accommodations will be published in detail before the start of the academic year.

We would note that students serving in reserve duty during the Swords of Iron war for 14 days or more will be eligible, beyond their cumulative reserve duty service, to an additional two academic credits. Up to four academic credits will be granted for all degree studies, due to reserve duty.

Updated Academic Calendar

• First day of Semester 1 — 24, 2023.

• End of Semester 1 — March 3, 2024.

• First semester final examinations — March 4, 2024, to March 31, 2024.

• First day of Semester 2 — April 1, 2024.

• End of Semester 2 — Beginning of July 2024.

• First day of summer semester — (exact date to be published next week).

• First day of the 2024/25 academic year — November 3, 2024.

At the request of the Student Union, final examinations scheduled for November 27-30, 2023, have been postponed by one week to December 4-7, 2023. Details on Meydanet.
