16/6/21 19:00 - 24/6/21 19:00 The Department of Interior, Building and Environment Design building, Anne Frank St 12, Ramat Gan (Gate 2)
Shenkar is delighted to host The Future of Living, an exhibition of contemporary Slovenian design, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Tel Aviv. The exhibition presents a new selection of contemporary Slovenian products created from local raw materials and based on the principles of sustainability. These products combine creative activity with commercial vision, showcasing small brands that express functionality, passion for life, love of nature, innovative applications for local materials, and new manufacturing techniques.
The products predict a future in which raw materials are no longer available in plenty; a future that requires rationalization for human resources and manufacturing methods, in which a new generation of users demands individually tailored solutions.
These products make use of innovative and technologically advanced manufacturing techniques, which consumers and designers integrate with their great love of life and nature.
The ninety products, which bear the "Made in Slovenia" mark of excellence, were developed over the last two years. They represent the concentrated efforts of the Center for Creativity, which operates under the auspices of the Museum of Architecture and Design, to connect, promote, support, and develop the cultural and creative sector in Slovenia, while facilitating cooperation with the business, science, and education sectors.
The exhibition will take place in the Department of Interior, Building and Environment Design building, Anne Frank St 12, Ramat Gan (Gate 2)
